Soil health workshop geared toward urban farms. Dr. John Beirnbaum will speak about some general soil health concepts, Sylvan Table and Farm will provide a tour of the farm and detail some of the challenges they’ve faced in their journey to remediate an urban site, panel of experienced urban growers will answer attendee questions, and information about programs like MAEAP and resources available through the Oakland Conservation District will be provided. Lunch is also included!
